a) A producer with an up to date certification contract: who fulfils the technical standards; who fulfills satisfactorily the requirements prior to the inspection; with satisfactory regular inspections and unannounced inspections; who fulfils the conditions in established time periods who has their financial situation regularized CERTIMEX, can receive the CERTIMEX certification.

b) A producer who fulfils the conditions or requirements to improve, complement and/or modify what the control and certification process requires can normally maintain or renew the CERTIMEX certification.

c) The extension or limitation of the CERTIMEX certification is based on the producer fulfilling the technical requirements and procedures (Technical Standards of the Production and Quality Manual). CERTIMEX determines the limitation or extension of the certification according to the items and/or types of products which are the objects of the certification, the expertise of the production methods and techniques from the supplier.

d) A producer who does not carry out sub- paragraph (a) and (b) above normally would receive a partial or total refusal, suspension or withdrawal of certification or license. The producer can recover the certification at the moment that the conditions, sanctions and time periods which were imposed by the certification personnel are fulfilled.

e) A lapse in the classification of point (d) of this present chapter, within a time period of less than 5 years, is normally treated with sanctions and the producer can definitely not obtain the CERTIMEX certification.
