Processor and /or Marketer

This is a legal entity whose activity adds higher value to the product through transformation or manufacturing, combination, packaging, new identity of the product, etc.

• Processors and / or marketers contracted by producers are included in this category as well as processors and / or marketers who buy raw materials from organic producers. The relation between the processor, merchant and supplier of organic product(s) must be formalized by a written contract whatever the nature of this relationship is. The obligations of both parties must be clearly specified in the contract in order to guarantee the fulfillments of organic agricultural standards.

  The ultimate person responsible of the fulfillment of the Standards is the entity or entities signing the contract of CERTIMEX.
